Pirate Playdough!

Black playdough with silver sparkles, shouldn't be that hard to make, just like any other color, right?  Not if you decide to use Wilton's Black Food Colouring!  The dough looks amazing.  My hands look fushia pink. Bright fushia pink!  If I turned off the lights, I'm convinced my hands may glow in the dark!

But I would like to point out that the children's hands have stayed remarkably clean....

Sometimes someone in your life does something incredibly nice for you and this was definitely one of those times for us!  My wonderful brother-in-law Adam, his wife (my friend!) Dawn, and their sons Luke and Ben (love you boys!) recently bought a new van and since they weren't using their old one, they....wait for it.....GAVE IT TO US!!!!!!!!!  Yes, that's right, you read that correctly, the daycare has a van now!!!!  We can go on ADVENTURES (that's what the kids call our field trips) and we don't have to worry about rushing to catch the bus!!!!  The world is our oyster!  And what better way to start our new van adventures than a trip to the goat/duck/chicken out in Westsyde?!

We've named it the Millennium Falcon, cause why not?  Our other car is the Cardis.

We can't thank Adam and Dawn enough!!!!  Love you, love you, love you!!!!

Arrr!  X marks the spot!  Swab the deck!  Belay that!  Batten down the hatches!  Polly want a crackers!  Walk the plank!  Ahoy maties!  Yo-ho-ho!  It's a pirate's life for me! 

September 19th be Talk Like A Pirate Day, but like true Buccaneers, we laugh at one day of Pirating and instead embrace not one day, not two days, but an ENTIRE WEEK OF PIRATEY FUN AND ADVENTURES!!!!!
